We have been going to Laxmi Sweets for many years and have watched them grow and improve their facilities as well as menu items. Their food is consistently great and service fast. Prices very reasonable as well. We have taken our American friends and our kids everyone loves place.
Their food is not oily and heavily spices as many other Indian restaurants, and we love that.
Other great thing is that they serve Indian street food as well as traditional dinner items so there are fantastic choices to satisfy all tastes. -

Excellent food.
Stopped by starving for some Indian food. First time here but not the last. Got a 3 sides/rice plate with chickpea, aloo-something, and vegetable curry. And to wash it down, the mango lassi came with the meal. The portions are big, and it only came out to be a little over $11.
I also got some of the white and yellow sponge appetizer and those were delicious. For 6 pieces, the total cost took me to a little over $17.
I dined in, but many got theirs to go. There are not many seats inside, so on a busy day, might have to share?
Service was immediate and professional.
Parking is easy and free in the shopping center's lot. -

I love their Sev puri and gulab jamun. Sev puri is the correct amount of spicy reminds you of Indian street food.

Got an order To-go to satisfy my cravings for Indian snacks at tea time.
Bhel puri - This was my favorite dish. The flavors were subtle and the mix of ingredients were perfect. They added crispy bits of puri which was a nice touch.
Sev puri - I did not like this at all. It was too spicy and the combo of ingredients did not taste good.
Milk cake - Tasty sweet.
Gulab jamun - 5 pieces in a plate. One of my fave Indian sweets. They did a good job making it. -

Most people are in Old Town Tustin for Cream Pan or Honda-Ya. This is understandable. Few will probably set foot in the unassuming Laxmi. This is unfortunate. Here you can get help with taxes, convert old videos, get groceries, and eat a lunch buffet, all remarkably in the same place.
I came for dinner on a weekday and ordered a three-item plate of chicken tikka masala, chana masala, and navrattan korma. The plate also included naan, rice, raita, salad, and lassi. I think the food was better than Rasoi next door, but not quite as good as India Kitchen nearby. The chicken tikka masala was rich, creamy, and contained large chunks of chicken. The three-item plate was a lot of food and could potentially feed two. The total came out to $11.84. I think it's justifiable given the amount of quality food.
The dining space is in the back and there's ample seating. I enjoyed dining in the store. Eating is only part of the experience here. You can also enjoy an endless playlist of popular Indian music videos played on their enormous screens. You can also watch customers shop in the grocery aisles as you enjoy your meal. Altogether, it's an interesting experience and I heartily recommend eating here!
